Name Delaware County
Details Delaware is a county in East Central Indiana. It was organized in 1827 and named for the Delaware Indians. The Delawares had villages in the county in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Cities, towns and villages include Muncie (county seat), Yorktown, Selma, Shideler, Cammack, Gaston, Eaton, Daleville, Smithfield, Medford, and Albany.

The population was 118,769 at the 2000 census.
