Description Man's straw hat or boater. The stiffened straw hat has a two-inch brim and a tall (3.5 inches), flat crown. The hatband of black grosgrain ribbon has a thin beige stripe and a slightly wider red stripe down the center; the hatband has a bow on one side. Inside, the hat has an off-white cotton lining and a brown leather sweatband.
