Description Hartigan's Champion Egg Opener with the original instruction sheet and box. This handy device was used to remove the top from boiled eggs. It has scissor-type handles with round finger holes. The sides of the opener are narrow, rounded and hinged at the bottom. The sides are decorated with a scroll motif, front and back, and form a large elliptical opening in the center. There are seven small sharpened points evenly spaced along each side.
