Description Wooden child's chair decorated with a lily and diamond pattern. There are three white calla lilies with green leaves painted on the back and on each side. A band with a diamond design and a band with an overall dot pattern decorate all the edges of the chair, except on the reverse side of the back. The back of the chair curves at the top corners and is only slightly taller than the arms. The sides are curved at the top/front to form the arms and have a curved cut-out near the bottom to form the short legs. There is a comma shaped cut-out near the top/front edge of the arms.

Provenance This chair was part of the collection of Corinne Nottingham Elliott. Ms. Elliott lived in Eaton, Indiana, and over many years amassed a large collection of dolls, toys, and related items. In 1986 this item, along with several others were given to the Ball Brothers Foundation for the collection of the Minnetrista Cultural Center, which the Foundation was in the midst of creating. After the opening of the Cultural Center the gift was transferred from the Foundatoin to the Cultural Center, making the Elliott items part of the Minnetrista Heritage Collection.
