The watercolor entitled "Snowy Owl" is a nature study of a snowy owl. The owl is shown perched on the limb of a pine tree. His body is shown more or less in profile, but his head is turned toward the viewer. The artist's card on the back reads, "Denniel Studio and Gallery, 220 S. Country Club, Muncie, IN."
The wooden frame has a "roughed up" antiqued finish in tones of brown and grey. The sides of the frame are more of a yellowish beige. The watercolor has a brown and navy double mat and is covered by glass. The frame has a black paper backing.
