Description Upholstered Rococo Revival style armchair with a frame of ebonized wood. The chair seat is rather low and the back is slanted backward. The tan upholstery, which is not original, has a small diamond pattern. The back is tufted and has 17 round self-covered buttons. The carved crest rail is decorated with a openwork swirl and floral motif. The curved front apron is decorated with a carved floral motif with swirls on either side. The cabriole front legs have a carved floral motif on the knees and end in trifid feet with casters. The curved back legs also have casters.

Provenance This armchair was owned and used by Helen Ball Robinson. The chair was inherited by her children, Sarah R. Harris and L. Ashley Robinson. The two donated the table to Minnetrista Cultural Foundation in 1998.
